Recorder/Archivist

 

Term of Commitment: Indefinite.

 

Duties:                            The Recorder/Archivist is charged with keeping a record of the membership of the Meeting, and maintaining copies of all certificates issued by the Meeting.  This includes all necessary details concerning births, deaths, marriages, transfers into and out of the Meeting, and similar matters. The Recorder also keeps the official archive of all Minutes of business meeting, including subsequent corrections. The Recorder and the Recording Clerk must prepare an annual report to Yearly Meeting by the sixth month of each year. The Recorder also consults regularly with inactive members regarding their intentions to maintain, transfer, or resign membership.

 

Qualifications:               The Recorder should be a faithful attender of business meeting and diligent in recording the membership details of the Meeting in an appropriate and timely manner.  S/he should have a long-standing commitment to the Meeting and to remaining in the area.

 

Frequency of Commitment:  The Recorder is expected to attend each Monthly business meeting.
